What is the difference between the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G?

I have an unlocked iphone that I'm using in the country of Azerbaijan with a prepaid sim card.. Every few minutes I get a message on my phone that indicates new charges for internet use even though I'm not actually on the internet. I'm guessing it has something to do with the sim card, a feature that needs to be disabled or the service provider (Azercell). Has anyone ever had this problem or knows how to fix it?

After syncing my iPhone to another iTunes I had to erase my whole library from the phone and after new songs loaded the artist list isn't separated. But the song list is fine.

I took the iphone off the charger when it was updating from the computer. On the screen it has the apple and a loading bar but the loading bar isn't loading. I took it off the charger because it said on the computer that it was completely done updating. But now the iphone is not working at all. What do i do to fix it?

Im on a two year plan and i recently got my upgrade, but I am interested in buying an Iphone, and i dont want to wait for my next upgrade. How much is it without the upgrade?

How can I add songs to my iPhone without deleting the songs already there? Every time I add songs to my iPhone it deletes the songs that are already there.

I do not plan on using Bluetooth because it takes far too long for the amount of data that I want to transfer. Furthermore, iTunes does not seem to recognize my videos and podcasts as files that can be transferred to my iPhone when it is plugged into my mac.

I recently upgraded to the 1st gen apple iphone (not 3G) and am wondering if you can actually have songs as a ringtone? If so how would you go about it? Do you have to purchase them from itunes? FYI - this is an unlocked phone on tmobile's network.
